Much discussion over this topic last year as well. Don't believe it has to do with the fact that it is air cooled as much as it is a function of how a carburator works and how it is tuned. Hot moist air is different than hot dry air is different from cool dry air in how it mixes with gas. Altitude and barometric pressure can play in as well. Actually in Texas, we don't have as
extreme changes as other climates.
These 50-60 degree mornings are great aren't they? Wish it could be like this all year round!!
